Well, I thought I would write a quick blog looking back over my 2015 adventure. 2015 started with the annual falls creek training camp leading into the Summer Down Under International Wheelchair Series, which saw some hard and fast racing before we turned our attention to the Australian domestic season, in which I recorded a win in the 1500m at the Sydney National Series meet.
People are always asking me why I am in a wheelchair, so over the years I have developed an interesting story, that is a little bit more interesting than the boring truth.
As I travel around the world, adding to my total number of countries visited (60 so far) I try to get on to as many adventure activities as I can. Some have been wild, some have been crazy fun and some have just been, well, a bit crazy.
Today in this blog I thought I would answer a “How do you………..” Question. Through my motivational speaking to Schools, Clubs and businesses for which I love to share my story and experience from around the world. During my speeches I always like to allow for question time which can be such a fun experience interacting with the crowd answering some far flung questions.
Around the world there are some famous cities, places and things to see and do – and Death Road is definitely one of them.
